As we come to the end of Financial Planning Week, here’s a quick summary of what you’ve heard from us:

  • Following Rachael Reeves’ announcement in the Budget that pensions will form part of estates for Inheritance Tax purposes, Jonathan Elsigood provided some expert insight and answers to the question on everyone’s lips: what should I do with my pension now?As the consultation progresses toward the implementation date of April 2027, we’ll be providing regular updates and articles in our new series of blogs, Unpacking Pensions: April 2027 and beyond.
  • And here I explained how important financial planning is to us here at Cooper Parry Wealth, how our clients benefit from looking at their life and finances in this way and what we are doing to bring on the next generation of financial planners.
  • And lastly, Simon Williams was back again with another quick video explaining what all this financial planning stuff is ultimately for – living your best life, doing what matters most to you and making a positive impact, so you can Make Life Count

If you have any questions about any of the above, we’d love to hear from you, do get in touch with me or the CPW team.
